As a new teacher when you accept a job at a Watford Partnership school you are automatically enrolled into the Watford Partnership Early Careers Framework (ECF) programme.
ECT’s receive a 10% reduction in their timetable in year 1 and 5% reduction in year 2. In addition to this you are supported by a subject and induction mentor at your school, furthermore, you will be enrolled on over 12 CPD sessions each year run by the Partnership culminating into a conference at the end of each year.
All partnership schools follow the core Educational Development Trust (EDT) ECF core programme, which is delivered in-house by partnership schools, sharing and collaborating on resources. Herts for Learning is the Partnership’s ECF Accreditation Body.
We pride ourselves on the in-depth range of professional development opportunities that are included within the Partnership, these include two clear routes of CPD, professional studies and subject studies. These CPD programmes are in place to complement the training provided by schools in the partnership and EDT.
